Key Strings Visit

Last week at Nursery, we had some special visitors called ‘Key Strings’. They came to show us a variety of musical instruments and taught us about them. We learned the names of the different instruments and discovered how they are played. Some of the instruments were very old, which made the visit even more interesting. It was a fun experience, and we enjoyed learning about music.
We explored the different sounds that the instruments could make and learned that some instruments produce low sounds while others produce high sounds. We also listened to fast and slow sounds. To finish the session, we had a dance and sang along while the instruments were being played. It was an amazing experience that the children really enjoyed and will remember for a long time.
