Smartie The Penguin

The Adventures of Smartie the Penguin is a series of six stories developed by Child's Net, for use with 3 to 7 year olds to help explore life online and understand how and when to ask for help.

In each story, Smartie the Penguin encounters three different scenarios. Each time, learners are encouraged to talk about what has happened, and explain what they think Smartie should do and why. In every story, learners are also asked to join in with Smartie’s special song, to help him make his decisions!

We provide two stories each, for 3-5 year olds (EYFS). Every story is different and the themes and advice progress for each audience, but would work well for a spiral curriculum supporting online safety, computing, and relationships education.

Parents and Carers are warmly invited to join us for our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 25th September at 9:00am.


Come along for a morning of tea, coffee, delicious treats, and friendly conversation, while helping us support the incredible work of Macmillan Cancer Support.


We would be very grateful for any donations of cakes, biscuits, or other baked goods to help make the event a success. Whether homemade or shop-bought, every contribution is greatly appreciated.
