School Readiness
Making the transition from our nursery school to starting primary school can be an exciting and challenging journey.
At our settings, we aim to support this transition as much as possible through positive relationships with local feeder schools and a pro-active approach to transition.
When school places are announced, we make contact with local schools and invite them to come in to school to meet the children and discuss with their key person. If children have additional needs, our SENCo makes contact with the primary school SENCo to discuss support currently being offered and next steps.
